Mahindra & Mahindra has launched the 2020 Bolero facelift in the latest BS6 specification. Prices start from Rs 7.77 lakh ex-showroom. With the update, the company has introduced a host of cosmetic enhancements to the SUV, which is also one of the best-selling products from the brand.
Under the hood, the new Mahindra Bolero has an upgraded, BS6 1.5-litre turbocharged diesel engine called mHawk75. The new engine produces 55.9 kW (76.00 PS) at 3,600 rpm and 210 Nm of torque at 1,600-2,200 rpm. The BS4 1.5-litre mHawk70 turbocharged diesel engine of the discontinued model developed 52.5 kW (71.38 PS) at 3,600 rpm and 195 Nm of torque at 1,400-2,200 rpm. In its BS4 format, the engine was good for 70bhp and 195Nm. There is only one choice for the transmission system and that is a 5-speed manual unit.

The new 2020 Mahindra Bolero gets a new grille at the front with a new bonnet and headlamps. The headlamps get halogen lamps with a new partition. The partition is between the beam light, hazard lamp and the parking light. The front bumper of the Mahindra Bolero has also been updated and it now gets new air dam and redesigned fog lamp housings. At the rear, there are not many changes. It gets a new tail lamp and door handle for the boot release.
The interiors have also gone through some updates that are mostly confined to the cosmetic department. On the safety front, the 2020 Mahindra Bolero features driver-side airbag, driver and co-driver seatbelt reminder, high-speed alert and rear parking sensors.
