Hyundai India is planning to launch a couple of all new products and updated models of some of its existing cars. The first product to be launched by Hyundai this year will be the 2015 Verna facelift; it is likely to be launched by the end of February 2015.
The Verna that ruled the mid-sized sedan segment before the arrival of new-gen Honda City, is aiming to regain the lost ground in the segment. The Verna, currently, is at no. 3 position after Honda City and Maruti Suzuki Ciaz.

Known as ‘Solaris’ in Russia, the updated model was launched there in 2014. The 2015 Verna will feature Hyundai’s Fluidic design philosophy, which will make it look similar to the new-gen Sonata.

The 2015 Verna will get a new front fascia with larger headlamps, redesigned bumper with LED daytime running lights, new fog-lamps, dual-slat chrome grille and a bigger airdam.

The rear profile of the car might not see any major changes except the new LEDs and new reflectors on the bumper. Interiors may get minor tweaks with extar features.

Mechanically, the car is expected to remain unchanged. Slight tuning to the suspension and steering system are expected. Engine options are likely to remain similar – two petrol (1.4-litre & 1.6-litre) and two diesel (1.4 and 1.6 CRDi) engines.
