Maruti Suzuki Brezza CNG launched with fuel efficiency of 25.51km/kg
Maruti Suzuki has launched the Brezza CNG SUV in India at INR 9.14 lakh (ex-showroom, India). This is the first time the new Brezza gets two fuel options since the diesel-powered Vitara Brezza was discontinued in 2020. The Brezza is so far the only compact SUV in India to offer a CNG powertrain.
Below are the ex-showroom prices for Maruti Suzuki Brezza S-CNG:
LXi - INR 9.14 lakh
VXi - INR 10.49 lakh
ZXi - INR 11.89 lakh
ZXi dual-tone - INR 12.05 lakh
The Brezza CNG is powered by the same 1.5-litre K15C DualJet engine and is only offered with a 5-speed manual gearbox. It produces 101hp and 136Nm in petrol-only mode, however the output dips to 88hp and 121.5Nm in CNG mode. Maruti claims that the Brezza CNG can offer a fuel economy of 25.51km/kg.
